The region is home to an abundance of flora and fauna and has numerous National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries to ensure the protection of this wealth. Animals such as the Royal Bengal Tiger, Indian One Horned Rhinoceros, Asiatic Wild Buffalo, Indian Elephant, Eastern Swamp Deer, Indian Gaur are found here as well over 850 species of birds such as the White Winged Wood Duck, Collared Falconet, Bengal Florican, Great Hornbill and the Red Headed Trogon making this region a wildlife and birding paradise.

MANAS NATIONAL PARK

Drive to Manas National Park, a Project Tiger Reserve and a World Heritage Site, that is spectacularly located in the foothills of the Himalayas. The park offers a unique experience and allows you to explore it for the next two days on jeep and elephant safaris, taking in some fantastic flora, fauna and vistas! There are local Bodo communities in the vicinity of the park and if possible, you can visit them and take in their way of life. Stay overnight at a lodge outside Manas National Park.

NAMERI NATIONAL PARK

Drive to Nameri National Park. This park offers you the thrilling experience of walking the forests and exploring on foot, spotting as many birds as you can. Subject to availability, you can also raft on the Jia-Bhorelli River and identify waterside birds. Stay overnight at a camp/lodge outside Nameri National Park.

KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

Drive to Kaziranga National Park. The park has different ranges and you can explore them on jeep and elephant safaris. Having a large population of Indian One Horned Rhinoceros and Elephants as well as a sizeable population of Royal Bengal Tigers, your trips into the jungles will be filled with the excitement of viewing large animals as well as a lot of birds. Stay overnight at a lodge outside Kaziranga.

KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

Drive to Kaziranga National Park. The park has different ranges and you can explore them on jeep and elephant safaris. Having a large population of Indian One Horned Rhinoceros and Elephants as well as a sizeable population of Royal Bengal Tigers, your trips into the jungles will be filled with the excitement of viewing large animals as well as a lot of birds. You will also travel early in the morning to go visit the Hoolock Gibbon Sanctuary and see these playful apes gambolling about in their arboreal environment. Stay at a lodge outside Kaziranga.
